Bearos029 Jet Johnson - 9000 men (7")

Jet Johnson formed in 2000, a collaboration between Gavin Baker (Billy Mahonie & Glider) and Caroline Nesbo (ex- Fierce Panda band Peachfuzz.) With musical references ranging from Avro Parth to the Shangri-Las the band creates a unique brand of peculiar post-pop.
Their debut single "Mr Bones" was released on Becalmed Records in July 2001. It received UK airplay from John Peel (BBC Radio One) and Jon Kennedy (XFM) as well as plays on independent radio stations in the UK, Europe and Canada. They have alsoreleased a mini-album on Erroll Records and a full album for Seriously Groovy Records.

"The fact that Bjork's warbling gibberish continues to receive plaudits whilst bands such as Jet Johnson remain largely ignored isn't just wrong - it's obscene" The Fly
"Grand stuff…it all warms the very cockles of our hearts" Record Collector
"Dipping its toenails dashingly in the land of the banjo frenzy and radiating a soothing blanket of blankness throughout." Playlouder.com

7" single £2.50 (inludes postage in the UK)
