The Toques (the band formerly known as Buick6) are a harmony-laden, energetic band with the sass of a pop group and a firm nod in the direction of Nashville. They've got the ability to grab at your heart as well as your ears.

These recordings done last summer and sandwiched between their two John Peel sessions are both a statement of intent and a warm hello from the band. The three-part harmonies, hooks, melodies and energy of the tracks, produced by Joe Foster, faithfully capture the live sound. From first listen it's clear that their is much more to come from this band.
