The Og's combine classic British prog-rock with the virtuoso post-rock strains of Tortoise and Don Cabellero to create a swirling mantra of shifting sounds and rhythms. This album includes rerecordings of The Reckoning of Boromir (original on Bearos027) and Camberwick Tock (original on Bearos042 and free download from Bearos mp3 site) as well as live favourites, Jim Carey and the bizarrely named The boy without a fairy in a jigsaw universe saw the light thicken and the crow make wing in the rooky wood. Completing the CD is Adverse Camber, a 35 minute epic composed in 2002 when the band thought it would be a good idea to all live together. A stunning piece of work. Numbered copies in plasic bag with insert.
